Windows 7 Demo on iPhone/Android

Curious enough to want to try Windows 7 but don’t have the hardware? You can now check it out using your iPhone or Android phone. Just open this demo in your phone’s browser. It uses an HTML5 page to emulate the Windows 7 experience. The funny thing is it doesn’t work on a real Windows phone!

Next class: PACT, Scope and Platform

leave a comment »

For the next class, each group will briefly (10 min) present an overview of their PACT to the class. Use the PACT as a way to scope your project for CCAD. For example your team may decide to focus on Canadian contemporary photography, or a web app for curated show or learn about Canadian design. These are simply examples, but there are many more possibilities for your group to scope in on.

Also include an introduction to your platform (eg.Android) and what makes it unique/challenging/advantageous. What is its current status?

Provide any accompanying visuals you think might help explain your thinking.
